I don’t get people saying you’ll owe like 7k at the end of the year. If I can take home an extra $1k a check, that’s $24k a year. I don’t mind putting $7k on the side to pay taxes lol

Exempt doesn’t mean you’re not paying taxes. It just means you’re going to deal with the taxes on your own at the end of the year. You’re not escaping the taxes.

I have my accounting degree, you can do this 100% but yall if you do it PLEASE PUT THE AMOUNT THAT WOULD BE TAKEN OUT INTO A SAVINGS ACCOUNT! You will owe taxes next year and if you don’t pay them they grow interest and you will go more and more in debt with the IRS. Just make sure you’re being prepared! This will still hurt them as they won’t be getting the money from many Americans throughout the year. Just protect yourself while doing this resisting. Much love everyone 💙💙

Do not do this if you are a single person with no kids making somewhat decent money. I owed 4k in 2023 and over almost 3k for 2024 lol it’s not worth it unless you do what ppl say in the comments and save it, but be honest with yourself about the chances that you will actually save it!!

Chile you’ll owe at the end of the year and they won’t start trying to collect until the next tax season and you can set up a payment plan with the irs for 58.00 a month. Trust me you’ll be fine
