Yep, shop talk! talking you into spending money! What is imperative is you knowing your engine. Also, please understand that shops will not install seals on cranks and cams for free "because they are already in there". It would be a reduced cost but being in there doesn't justify replacement. So, know your engine and don't fall for the biggest shop upsale of "since we are in there".
