@imanabdk: I’m quite certain that Harper would read each of these books and their critiques of capitalism and race and treat them as a playbook for becoming the richest woman on earth. She’s diabolical, and honestly that’s what makes her impossible to look away from. I exclusively refer to Harper as “Black girl unwell,” but what I love about her character is how deliberately the show leans into just how unwell the industry is making every single character. Like none of them doing remotely okay.
