Consistency is a result, not a target. I broke trading into its components and mastered them one at a time. Direction. Entries. Exits. Risk. Each one drilled until it ran without thinking. I didn't touch the next one until the last one was locked in. Then I set a graduated risk model. I traded at a defined size and had to execute the plan without mistakes. When I could, the risk scaled. When I couldn't, it didn't. I earned the next level by proof. By the time the components and the risk model were in place, the consistency showed up on its own. I never worked on it directly. Same for patience. Same for discipline. That's how you become consistent. You stop aiming at consistency and start building the pieces underneath it.
