@drewmtillman: 📍Natural History Museum of Los Angeles Unearthed: Raw Beauty is a new special exhibition at the Natural History Museum, separate from the Gem and Mineral Hall in the permanent collection. The exhibit focuses on raw, uncut minerals and crystals, including some of the largest and rarest specimens ever shown in their natural form. It’s on display through April 18, 2027. Admission is included with general entry, which is also free for LA residents Monday through Friday from 3–5 pm. #thingstodoinla

Getting to see this with my mom who once wanted to be a Geologist was such an experience. It isn't my particular interest, but getting to see her absolutely light up as we went through as a family was truly amazing. One of those moment of remembering she was just a girl once, too. 🥺😭💕💖
