@foodsfortwo: FINALLY trying one of the most viral Sydney brunch spots🌟🍵🥞 Can you believe until last weekend I had never been to Sydney breakfast spot @Theeca?😮 This Darlinghurst cafe is known for THAT viral buttermilk pancake🥞🌟 Happy to report it tasted even better than it looks! Super thick, fluffy, and an incredible ratio of Canadian maple syrup, creme fraiche, and organic blueberry jam🫐 We split this amongst 3 and also shared their avocado & lemon toast on @a.p.bread sourdough🥑 Perfectly seasoned, crunchy, and the lemon added a lovely brightness to the dish🍋 Simple ingredients done impeccably well! Their matcha is an organic matcha from Yame🍵 The flavour had slight a umami (not as nutty as other Yame matchas can be), but I found it to be quite astringent and the ratio was a bit watery in the iced matcha - much preferred my friend Emily’s hot matcha and would order that next time! We came on a Sunday around 1030/11am and waited ~15 minutes for a seat outside on their communal tables - they don’t take brunch bookings (walk-ins only) so expect a bit of a wait on weekends, but clearly a popular Sydney brunch cafe for a reason🌟 #theecadarlinghurst #sydneybrunch #sydneypancakes #darlinghurstcafe #sydneybreakfast
