The last shot was completely unnecessary! He was incapacitated and no longer a threat after the first 2 shots. He potentially could have survived his injuries from the first 2 shots but that last one was an execution!

The officer told the man to get away from a gun and then man is saying "get that shit" I can't tell if it's an encouragement to fight, or telling someone else to grab a gun. either way, Tasers don't work at close distance and it looks like there were many people around and a car crash. I think a baton would risk the officers safety. I think there was no other option other then using a gun.
