I always open the windows, and I'm sitting near the window. I'm never sick. I open it for a few minutes every hour no matter how cold it is. People don't understand that breathing stale air full of germs makes them sick, not the cold.

In Finland there is thing called ventilation. Air coming out of ventilation is filtered and cleaner than outside air.

I’m team let people work at home so they are able to control their working environment to foster a productive working space for everyone’s individual needs and if you’re forcing people with opposing needs to work in a shared office then you’re not a good person ❤

Love it when someone opens the window, goes for a coffee, and leaves the rest of us to freeze. Fresh air is good, but 5 minutes per hour is perfectly fine in winter. The Germans even named it: Stoßlüften.

It's funny. But in a rational office, you discuss it when no one is inside (having lunch, having coffee, or just going out for a walk in the hallway) and then you open it for 5 minutes.

The main problem is that whoever opens the window forgets to close it. In winter, the room gets very cold, and you end up working in a jacket and a beanie.

I hate the cold but I open the window every day because I need air. For me the biggest battle is that I want to turn off the lights when it's bright enough from the windows but they don't 😭 I feel nauseous in mixed light

în modern offices there are ventilation and heat recovery systems, meaning you don't even need to open the windows, because fresh air is inserted at room temp automatically.. fyi
