Hypersomnia is rampant in people with adhd bc we also have super high rates of sleep apnea and cause lack of REM sleep. Then there’s delayed circadian rhythm disorder that’s constantly misdiagnosed as insomnia or anxiety.

so half of the ADHD videos I can relate with. not this one tho. I'm ready before the sun comes up. I can't turn my brain off and can't sleep much. I'm always waking up around 2,3.am. my body is tired but my mind won't shutup. help. 🥴

Leaving my curtains open so the sun can wake me up definitely changed my life. I wake up thinking how beautiful the sun is shining through my room and it motivates me to start my day!

I’m up before the sun most days so I’ve just resorted to not falling asleep until 2 hours before my alarms go off and I set a timer for 1 hour so I actually hear my alarms
