The fact that it’s 2026 and we’re still having this issue on people being surprised when they get fired for their social media presence. The amount of people in 2025 that were fired for broadcasting everything on social media was crazy. I didn’t think people would be doing the same in 2026.

I don’t understand why people keep making TikTok’s and posting them on social media at work. You are there to work not make TikTok’s. Also, it has been posted on TikTok about how many people have gotten fired for doing exactly that.

worked for Norwegian cruise line for 8 years, they had a strict no phone policy at work and throughout my time there I saw numerous people get fired for having their phone on them.Sorry you lost your job,In the end it's just not worth it.
