I once was told I did amazing, but bc the STORE didn’t overall perform over the top, that I got a 3 instead of a 5. This review is for ME not the entire store!!!

I was maintenance for a 189 unit complex. I was the locksmith, carpenter, drywall repair, electrician,plumber,and HVAC. They asked me after 12 years to take a cut in pay. I told him sure but he would have to hire someone else for HVAC, electrical panel work, anything that was more involved than replacing outlets or switches and locks. He said that he still wanted me to do that work but for less money I said, no. Never ever had a bad review and always told him where he could save money. I quit and he had to hire 3 different people to cover the areas of work I had done for 12 years

I quit trying to get the “4”, highest at my job. Then on my next review my manager said I only “meets expectations “ saying that she feels like I just come to work and go home. She said she would love to do that. So basically I get a 3 whether I try or not.

I left corporate America in 2004 and never looked back. After I left they replaced me with 2 people who couldn’t, in their entire 10 hr shifts, accomplish what I had been doing in a day before lunch. 🤷♂️
