Beams steel should be from 5/8” and up, not half inch, stirrups should be from 1/2 up 7/8”, not 3/8 steel

You are bragging about your beam but, you didn't put any holes in your block to lock into the new pouring of concrete. You shouldn't depend only on the steel. The blocks should have holes at different intervals to lock in the concrete.

pls explain lapping in beams its very confusing I was told you can lap at the bottom of the beam at the support, that you can't lap at the middle of d beam coz bending moment is more. then for the top we can lap at the top of the support l/3 each side is dat correct pls explain
