I'm definitely ai art hater, but I would love to hear your/others opinion on the comparison of art to things like open source coding. If you are unaware many coders will post their code publicly to be modified and changed freely, the idea is if someone is posting it online not behind a paywall it should be open to use however the audience would like and by restricting that use you are being 'selfish.' I don't agree with this idea but I want to hear why you might or might not agree with it

Another thing a lot of people don’t talk about is speed. Sloppy or not, AI makes things free and fast!! It’s why computers have shrank down entire departments to one person. The difference is that this isn’t a numerical or analytical task, art is something innately human. People are starting to realize they want polish over speed

as someone who is kinda pro ai. this is not the concept. the concept is everything can be improved with human hands. ai can make the process quicker but you still need human hands to perfect it. they'll be more projects being made since it takes less artists to make a project. meaning there will be more media in the end, not less jobs. or at least that's what I hope for since AI isn't really going away. (also, I use ai to aid in game creation, not my illustration)

I think another reason is reliability. Human artists are best, however some of them are unreliable and fail to meet deadlines, AI never fails to meet a deadline.
