I weighed myself every morning in May, I had the same routine, right after the bathroom before getting dressed, and same time every day. I looooove doing this experiment sometimes because it gives you a true look into how the scale works. Start at 187.9lbs Ended at 182.5lbs Lowest was 182.4lbs Highest was 188 (higher than where I started) This was a slightly bigger loss than a normal month for me because April I was a bit off track, slacking on my steps and not super consistent with my nutrition, and May I just locked back in on both of those things. Some of this is probably water weight coming off from getting consistent again and not all pure fat. That is totally normal and exactly what happens when you go from off track to back on track. What I noticed with these daily weigh ins is that the scale went up before it went down. May 10 I was at 188, which was higher than where I started, and if I’d let that get in my head and quit, I never would’ve seen 182 a few weeks later. Every time it bounced up, it was just because I had more food or water or a heavier workout the day before. The day to day numbers are kind of meaningless on their own, it’s the weekly average that we want to focus on. Don’t let one random morning ruin your day, it doesn’t say anything about your progress 🫶🏻 Save this for the next time you need a reminder!
