u should eat immediately after pearling if ur below 6 hearts so it really just depends on the situation wether u pearlgap or bait and combo the enemy

another tip: when pearling away and low switch to totem before you land and then gap and another: if you disabled your opps shield you can use your shield as a bait to start combos
