@cultureunfiltered: One Battle After Another…quite literally 🙂↔️. Happy for Teyana Taylor and can’t wait for her next project! #cultureunfiltered #onebattleafteranother #moviereview
Perfectly stated. Not enough balance. The movie was ok. Teyana doesn’t act well to me. She always seems like she is playing herself.

I took myself to watch this movie...and HATED IT! Her character was worst that Halle Berry's character in Monster Ball.

Every character in the film was a deeply flawed character. It would have been weird to make he positive uplifting character and change the plot just so people wouldn’t complain on tic tok.

it was just fine. hate that it acts like a movie about the revolution, when it’s just “into black girls?”

Having watched the movie, it wasn’t just that her character was over sexualized, it’s that it was contradicting and nonsensical. There was no reason for her to be involved with the opp the way that she was. It was an uncomfortable, confusing watch. I’m all for flawed BW characters facing difficult situations but this story and her character in particular was so poorly written. But very happy for TT.

here we go, a character can’t be flawed, a character has to be exactly good and everything that we want…yep

I feel like Teyanna should have won the award for a thousand in one which is no different because she plays as a woman who kidnaps the boy just to end up leaving him but I like that movie better

Never saw the poster for the movie. That’s wild. They made her a minstrel and gave her a Golden Globe.
