I took mines there too til warranty ran out. I felt so ripped off. So now newer vehicles the light comes on every 5k, and they say every other service they either rotate tires or change oil. They would use my FREE oil service even though they never changed the oil all they did was rotate tires, I told them I’m not understanding why?! And the same if I was changing oil thy would minus rotate tires… they said cause they do a multi point inspection thy have to minus it. Make it make sense. 🤦🏽♀️

This is the norm! On Oahu it’s an all day thing even with an appointment. Next time ask for a vehicle to borrow for the day

It’s funny how these companies and doctors always say you need to make an appointment. Then they charge you if you don’t make it to your appointment, but when you are on time, sometimes even earlier than your appointment, they don’t service you until 30mins to an hour after said appointment time. We should be able to charge them for missing their appointment time.

Wait till you find out the service manual says rotate tires at every service and you find out they don’t rotate your tires unless you ask.😡

Yup I did this once and never ever got my car service again. The wait is extremely long and never did give a heads up on the wait time, had a baby at the time too and there was no other place to go but wait. Ridiculous!

Completely unprofessional, file that complaint asap. Details matter, write it all down then send an email followed up by a call to the corporate office. You did good Mama! What a terrible first experience for your daughter, and a lost opportunity to keep and create future dealings & relationships with this dealership.

In O’ahu here. That is why it’s “cheaper” to pay the oil change place than waste all your hours at the dealer for “free” service.

I used to take mine /Tacoma ‘16 to Toyota Hilo. before they sold to Servco. Excellent service, shuttle. I won’t go to Servco. I hit 60k mi.. would cost btwn $1-3k!! Nah..I take it to local service, Paul’s Pāhoa. $150..I’m good.

It’s funny but not! This is NOT only Servco Kona! This happens on Oahu (Waipahu Servco) to be exact. I always make my maintenance appts months in advance. Show up on time & end up waiting hours for my maintenance to be done. Bought brand new trucks only from Servco. & when you bring up “what’s the point of an appointment” if we got to wait for hourssss! Same shit err 3-5 months for service. They make “appt slots” & it’s many cars within the slots. They gotta get their shit together.

Omg I found haha I was right next to you when u made this video. I was also upset to I was there from 9:30am and didn’t leave till 4:15pm, and I had an appointment at 10am. They said it would be done at 2pm if it won’t be done that time don’t tell us the time it will be done.
