Can I recommend running your own home daycare if you love kids and are creative? You make your own schedule, choose your own pricing, are your own boss, I spend most of my day in silence (since I work with toddlers), and all my neurodivergent "quirks" are considered assets in a caregiver.

The jobs market for developers is currently the worst it has ever been. Don’t try to change career to development now. My bf has experience and even taught one of those bootcamps but he cannot find any work

I was given a software development project but was not given a computer 😭 I wasn’t allowed to block time for deep focus, couldn’t have workplace flexibility, accused of being isolated (only coder), and was being managed and supervised by non technical folks (think translating kubernetes into buisness speak, explaining API and graph db 🤦🏼🤦🏽♂️🤦🏻♀️
