I’m taking a break from breast feeding (hurts too much when baby latches) if I stop completely should I still continue paced bottle feeding if I don’t continue breast feeding?

What do you think of MAM and phillips bottles for a newborn? Also, love this video! I pace feed my baby but he often tilts his head back, grabs the bottle and tilts it for more😭😭

My lactation consultant told me that I could hold my baby in a position similar to football and give her the bottle in this same method, but while she’s laying down. Why do you not recommend laying down for a bottle feeding?
