Just so non-residents are aware: this is a former gas station across from where George Floyd was murdered by police. The area (now George Floyd Square) was the epicenter of what would spark the largest protests in US history. It has been preserved as is generally to serve as a memorial. We are currently working out long term plans. It’s sad to see everyone judging how we here in Minneapolis choose to remember and grieve. TBH I wouldn’t do that to your city 😢
