My son thinks I’m ridiculous for having a tactical first aid kit in my car but I’d rather have it and never need it than need it and never t have it. I have a second kit with things like a collapsible shovel and other supplies for if you’re lost/stuck in the middle of nowhere. I also have a life vac and if they ever make an affordable portable AED that’s my dream trunk item.

also, remember that free nurse hotlines are a thing! I recommend looking up independent hotlines in your area and saving them in your contact list. Just search "free nurse hotline" and I guarantee it will pop up, you'll get connected to official, registered nurses who are able to help over the phone
