When toddlers drop their nap it’s such a hard transition! I miss the 3 hr nap so now I do 1hr quiet time where I leave them in their room to look at books and like two low stimulating toys. I get to rest and relax and it resets them as well. I turn off the light and just leave a small lamp on sometimes he will fall asleep but it’s relaxing for them!

I believe you can feel two completely different emotions at once!! Being overstimulated and tired while also feeling like there is nothing you want to do more than be a mom. 💗 Thanks for sharing the real side of it!

I put my baby (8 months) in the high chair just in a diaper and she feeds herself! Messy fs but so easy to wash her off afterwards
