@hicarsondogss: Kennel behavior isn’t the full picture and for many dogs it can leave the worst first impression. Many dogs don’t show who they really are behind bars. Some become barrier reactive from stress. Some shut down. Some are so overwhelmed they won’t even come forward. What you’re seeing is survival mode, not personality. Before walking past a “reactive” or “shy” dog, please pause!! Ask to meet them outside the kennel. What you see inside isn’t always what you get. (Twinkie was adopted btw♥️)
