Maybe it's because I've only ever played the legendary version, but I actually really liked the ending? Did a perfect destroy and even got a cinematic cutscene of my shep breathing at the end. Never understood the current hate over the ending.

I never played a story game all the way through until I played mass effect. Always played Madden, 2k, other generic multiplayer games. Found the legendary edition little over a month ago and just finished. Literally was getting emotional during the last squad conversations before the war in me3. Has completely changed my perspective on games

Idc what anyone says, Shepard's ending was perfect. Growing up with her and seeing her character grow was perfect, and Shepard's story was never made to end happily. It was made to end with peace. Shepard's ending and the choice at the end was perfect. Mass Effect trilogy is perfect from the top to the bottom.
