Dont have to pull furniture out. You open slide go outside and feel under the slide and look under it. PLUS SHOULD PAY AN INSPECTOR

Be sure to check under the slides on the outside.. you can see water rings if it has been leaking & the wood will start to separate along the edges if it has been happening for a while.

we did the same thing and had two completely rotten slide outs 🥲 floor and sidewalls had to be completely replaced

This is why I told my husband that extra space isn't worth it. One number issue I saw Rvers have is with the slides. We had a FR Rockwood HW pop-up and ours had to be adjusted so many times. I was done. Went with a longer RV w/o slides. Picked it up last week

Investing in a good dehumidifier will help save this issue. It may be obnoxious to constantly run one, but it will save you in the long run. I live in Oregon where it is constantly wet, and as long as we run the dehumidifier we don't have any issues with moisture inside the RV. Or you could run fans behind your couch every now and then.
