@britacooks: fell in love with Japan… Tokyo has so many layers, and you notice pretty quickly how thoughtful everything is. Like the way people line up diagonally for the metro. How carefully food is packaged. How smoothly the city moves, even when it’s busy. And honestly, everyone is just SO KIND. One thing that really stuck with me was how rarely I saw anyone grab coffee or food to go. People would actually sit down, eat, finish their drink, and then continue on with their day. It seems so simple, but I definitely want to start incorporating more of those small pauses in my day-to-day.
