There was a property I loved and they reached out to mine and my partners work to confirm our incomes (we had both been honest or rounded down, so looking good) only for them to reject us. Why did you inconvenience my payroll just to reject me?!

life hack: rental regional. okay, you'll be massively depressed and covered in bugs, red dirt and have constant hay fever but the agents are falling over themselves for you (I'm also falling over because of heat stroke).

I looked at a property, only small, not much storage. Had a garage attached to the house, but the garage was not part of the lease as it was full of the owners stuff. Realtors really don’t care

Manifest it all :
Inspected a rental and the tenant was part way through moving so the place was crazy, nbd. But because there was a tenant obvi you can’t open any cupboards etc. found out after we moved in, that the “bond clean” was equivalent to what we inspected day of (was filthy and roach infested) and to ice the filthy cake, the pantry, was actually ALSO where the hot water system was installed. 1/3 50L water tank (giving us 2-3 minute showers) and then 2 shelves for food whixh would get warm and steamy. Renting is brilliant

was living in a rental that was meant to be demolished last year.... instead they sold it to an investor in Sydney and they rented it through the same real estate

once went to an inspection and nobody showed up to show us the place. So there were 30+ people standing around for hours and neither the property manager or real estate answered multiple people's phone calls. Never got communication from them about their no-show either 🙄
