Looks pretty. But it seems like a lot of work for a waterproof butt connection. There is easier, faster, and less expensive ways.

I use a standard splice, that stripper is $15, good crimper another $15. then I use a soda straw and squirt in silicone RTV. never had one fail, and they were on boat trailers in saltwater.
