The world demands women continue to look like girls, yet they are rarely given the space to actually be girls.  In I’m Just a Girl, I introduce the idea of a ‘second girlhood’ that adult women are living right now, a space they’ve crafted for themselves to reconnect with a part of themselves they left behind (or never truly got to know): the girl. Girlhood (in all its forms) has been a bridge back to ourselves and each other and built such a wonderful sense of joy and community.  This book is a celebration of women embracing themselves as brilliant, wonderful, weird multi-faceted souls we are, as opposed to constantly shrinking ourselves down or being reduced to one extreme or another.  I am so incredibly proud that this is my first book - it’s got so much of my heart, soul and personal stories in, as well as wonderful insights and stories of so many other brilliant women, who I was so grateful to talk when writing this book ♥️ It’s for all the girls who grew up too fast and it is a love letter to those women who are tired of being held to impossible standards and finding new ways to champion their passions, dreams, mental health and friendships to redefine what their adult life will look like.
