The same thing with the dead sea. a specific point where "moses" split the sea... during a specific time of year the sea naturally splits there for a specific amount of time. like tides.

We have been looking at the islands in the oceans, but it might be somewhere where the lake ( or body of water has dried up) or a smaller body of water whose geography has changed since then. take the Sahara desert for example, there where lakes there during the period ancient Egyptians were building the pyramids of Giza 5000+ years ago. the Rishadt ( I forgot the spelling again) structure for example, gives a clue, but I'm not sure since no scientific concensus has been resched concerning the location of Atlantis.
