Yes and no. I think there are levels to this. If it’s a breakup , yes this, absolutely just go, leave it be. If you can. You can’t if you have kids, are legally entwined, or there has been illegal violence and abuse. If whatever was done to you was in the realm of normal human stuff, yes, this, but if it’s about getting justice for severe abuse, injury, permanent physical and psychological damage from illegal acts of abuse, then it’s going to be the justice system and reparations.
