@theoneleggedlegend: Social media Vs Reality 😔😢 The past year my body has quickly been failing on me! I’m under multiple departments at Addenbrookes trying to understand what is going on! 🏥 Those that have known me this whole journey from my two cancers, meningitis, sepsis, blood clot and my amputation! Which means you also know I’m pretty good at sugar coating what is going on behind the scenes with my health! This year I want to be more open and will keep you updated with everything going on no matter how hard!🤞🏼 Everyone has their own journeys and I know how much it’s helped me talk to people who have been through something similar and is so validating having someone who understands in ways others can’t! If I can ever help anyone please reach out 🫶🏼 I don’t know what this year will look like and I know already it’s going to be hard but I’m finally doing a job I absolutely adore and has changed my life and Im determined to not let my body stop me! 🦾 I have a CT scan this Saturday so will see my oncologist team once the results come in! While we wait for other departments to help! But until then I’m gunna cuddle this little sausage until he goes to his forever home the Friday 🥹🐶
