So it doesn’t matter if the light was red we are supposed to stop and get out of the way for active emergency vehicles. The ambulance didn’t see them bc they were already through the intersection and the car wasn’t paying attention to their surroundings. Even if you don’t see it you will hear it

Where are y'all that ambulances and other emergency vehicles don't have the right of way? We literally stop traffic for oncoming emergency vehicles, in the US, regardless of if we have a green light.

I hope the person getting help in the ambulance was okay. They were already dealing with something bad enough to get an ambulance and then that ambulance got flipped over.

I'm so confused as to why anyone would say the ambulance is at fault. Immediate right of way, regardless of light color and direction, except for a physical concrete median.

the ambulance one - i think both are at fault. it's required to stop for emergency vehicles, but they still need to make sure the road is clear. the truck might not have even seen the ambulance

as an ambulance driver, the car is at fault. when an ambulance has its lights on it is the law to pull over. the black car was clearly going too fast to stop. yes they had the green light but the law states you have to pull over for an emergency vehicle with the lights on. i’m not going to argue with anyone who replies. the car is at fault, period.
