@annekasvenskaofficial: The Vikings didn’t fear wolves — they respected them. To the Norse, the wolf was power, survival, and the wild itself. They followed Odin, the All-Father, who was never alone. By his side walked his two wolves — Geri and Freki — whose names mean the ravenous. They symbolised war, hunger, and the brutal truth of nature. And then there was Fenrir — the great wolf of prophecy, so powerful the gods themselves tried to bind him… knowing one day he would break free. For Vikings, the wolf wasn’t evil. It was nature unchained. And to walk with wolves meant strength — but also respect. Because you never dominate the wild. You survive with it. 🐺⚔️ #viking #vikings #wolf #fenrir #vikingqueen
