Virginia, where I'm from and where more US Presidents are from than any other state. The US idea of democracy started here. You can stand in the church at the Jamestown settlement where it all started!

As a German who travelled a lot around the us, there is no such place as Texas. Texas (especially the rural western side) gives me such an incredible feeling of freedom. Can’t describe it, but I have such a deep love for the place & its people. I wish I could live there, but at least I can come visit from time to time! Texas feels more home to me, than every other place!
