Thank you for treating your daughter like she matters in the decisions and discussions. I was left to always wonder what was happening with my attacker. My parents were worried it would scare me or cause more problems if I knew these things. Instead I constantly looked over my shoulder for years. A few years ago I took my power back and I’m not scared anymore. I’m now 47. I was 14 when it happened. Sending you love!

As a victim, the mom is completely right. It gives her child an advantage to be prepared. Please let’s also understand that people who SA children and are turned in, want revenge. They hate the child more for telling or “betraying” them.
