honestly ice age is so peak and mannys story was really well told in the movie. i liked how instead of it being a flash back or manny telling the story its a cave painting moving and with no dialogue to immerse the people watching

Paleo Accuracy: In realife Manny shouldn't have ever known about the passing of his mate and child since bull elephants tend to live separate lives from females he wouldn't have ever known about their passing unless the human hunters left their bones and herds of other mammoths would touch them and carry them which is behaviours seen in elephant today as they have been known to carry remains of family members including jaw bones and tusks they also kick dirt over the carcass of dead elephant and mount them as a sign of grief
