I put all of mine that were struggling in clear glass containers with leca and water and just a tiny bit of fertilizer and the roots have taken off!I cant wait to see what happens when they bloom! None of them have bloomed this season.

you can definitely grow orchids in water as long as you're giving them the things they need to grow.. imo orchids are such an easy plant to care for... you can pot them up in orchid bark thats my favorite method or spag moss or water.. best advice keep them in a clear pots if they are in orchid bark or moss so you can see when the roots are silver to water.

I’m going to see if I put my husband in water the bloom like an orchid. People are fucking unbelievable with their comments. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK? Are you guys looking for her to replace the orchids that you probably didn’t follow the right instructions to. I am so don’t with people. @✨Deanna ✨ your orchids are gorgeous.

I love that this works for you but in terms of growing orchids in general water culture isn't it. some orchids do like wet feet but phalaenopsis do enjoy periods of dryness. maybe incorporate a day or 2 of no water, just to give the roots a chance to breath a bit. I think you should look into oncidium types, they enjoy a bit more moisture. Good luck and enjoy your orchid journey 🥰
