GOOD MORNING, COUSINS! Well, @iamsunshine_242 and I woke up this morning to THOUSANDS of comments and opinions about OUR gender reveal yesterday! And BABY, some of the things we’ve read have been absolutely RIDICULOUS! 😂😭 We’ve seen everything from people saying Raven isn’t really pregnant, to folks claiming this is all some kind of show, to people actually being UPSET because our Cousins have been purchasing gifts from our baby registry! Now, mind y’all, we’ve literally taken y’all along on this pregnancy journey for the past 16 weeks! Doctor’s appointments, ultrasounds, hearing our baby’s heartbeat, and everything in between. But apparently, that’s STILL not enough for some people! 😂 And then there’s another part that we want to address because it’s honestly sad. There are STILL people in these comments trying to convince themselves that Raven is a man. At some point, you really have to ask yourself why it’s so difficult for people to simply accept that she’s a WOMAN, a WIFE, and now an EXPECTING MOTHER! Raven has never had to prove her womanhood to anybody on this internet, and she certainly doesn’t have to start now. But imagine being excited about bringing your first child into this world, sharing some of the most beautiful moments of your life, and having complete strangers try to turn your happiness into something ugly. That’s the part that really makes you wonder about people. And let’s talk about this registry! NOBODY has been forced to purchase ANYTHING! Our Cousins have simply chosen to bless our growing family, and we are FOREVER grateful! The fact that somebody else’s generosity can make people so upset is actually CRAZY! 😂 But here’s the beautiful thing about all of this. For the FIRST TIME, we’re genuinely not upset! We’ve been laughing, shaking our heads, and going about our morning because we’ve finally reached a place where we understand that everybody isn’t going to celebrate what God is doing in our lives. And that’s OKAY! We know who we are. We know what we’ve prayed for. We know what we’ve been through to get to this moment. And we know how much this baby already means to us. ❤️ Yesterday, we stood together as HUSBAND AND WIFE and celebrated finding out that we’re having a BABY BOY! 🩵👑 And no amount of negativity, conspiracy theories, or ugly comments will EVER change the happiness we felt in that moment! To everybody who showed up, watched our live, sent gifts, prayed for us, and celebrated with us, THANK YOU! You have made this journey even more special, and we don’t take any of it for granted! And to the folks still trying to figure out whether our pregnancy is real, whether Raven is a woman, or why people love us enough to send gifts… BABY, WE DON’T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO TELL Y’ALL! 😭😂😂 We’re going to keep loving each other, preparing for our son, and enjoying every single moment of this pregnancy!
