In some states if you don't pay the funeral bill in full they keep the cremated remains until you do

I have my adoptive mom urn I keep it on my room along with my dog ashes in her wooden box. I take good care of them I was close my adoptive mom. My dog grew up with me.

Do they pay for the cremation before you cremate them? Or do they pay for it afterwards? Is that why they don’t want to come back and get it? Because now they have a bill?

How can someone just leave their loved ones ashes??? Just went there those in December I would have never left the ashes.

We don’t want family to have to store our urns. What happens a generation or two later when you aren’t really remembered? We’ve purchased burial plots at a green cemetery.

so this is just my experience it's the pricing when somebody doesn't have insurance my dad passed away 5 years back and it took a 6 months to get his ashes back but that was because the funeral home that we used was nice enough to let us make payments most places don't

i had a boyfriend I was with for four years.his ex wife sign over to the state but they want let me paid to have him .I been over four year an take care of till I pass away three years ago

Society makes it a big deal. It’s all about money. I told my kids when I die. Don’t even claim me. Let the state deal with it. Dead is dead.. and that’s how you save money
