(If you’re interested in Physics, this is known as an XVV transition, where the Station's X-axis is aligned with its velocity vector.) We close all the shutters during that manoeuvre, but the Dragon does not have any, so I set up a camera there to capture the end of the procedure. Imagine opening your shutters one day and realising the world has turned upside down overnight! [FR] Jour 181, orbite 2806 – Le saviez-vous ? Il est parfois nécessaire de changer l’attitude de Station pour faciliter le rendez-vous et l’amarrage des véhicules spatiaux. (Pour ceux qui s’intéressent à la physique, on parle de transition XVV, qui consiste à aligner l’axe X de la Station avec son vecteur vitesse.) Nous fermons tous les volets de la Station pendant cette manœuvre, mais vu que le Dragon n’en a pas, j’y ai installé un appareil photo afin de capturer les derniers instants de la procédure.
