Nahhh.. ALWAYS buy your tickets from SmartEX. There is nothing confusing about the sites and Klook upcharges

I tried buying on the Klook app, but it makes you choose if you want the Mount Fuji side seat or oversize luggage seat. Were you able to get both somehow?

unless you need the luggage row, just buy from a JR station the day before you go, and honestly that's probably earlier than you need too
