@jennaphillipsballard: Your dream doesn’t need more time. It needs you to stop getting in the way. If you’re not willing to take bold action, your vision will die exactly where it was born: inside you. You don’t lack talent or clarity. You lack the willingness to stretch past what’s comfortable, and that’s the part you keep avoiding. You keep shrinking the vision to fit the timeline that feels safe, then acting surprised when it never fully comes to life. I almost talked myself out of music with “logical” excuses. Too old. Too late. Not enough resources. Not enough time. All lies. The truth was simple: the regret of not going for it would have hurt more than failing ever could. The moment I stopped negotiating with fear and went all in, things seemingly fell into place quite magically. They aligned because I decided. Leaders have results. Everyone else has reasons. If you want the life you keep envisioning, stop waiting to feel ready. Get uncomfortable. Stretch. Risk looking stupid. Get it wrong. Take the action anyway. You will experience discomfort one way or the other: Short term discomfort for long-term fulfillment or prolonged discomfort for debilitating regret at the end of your life. That’s the cost. Pay it or stop pretending you want the dream. 🤍
