I have been following Dr Charles Stanley's teachings for almost 27years! I also homeschooled my children (now in their late 20's) and we used that Daily Bible in the NKJV translation to start our days. I still absolutely love the teachings and enjoy using the In Touch app on Ruko & the devotional I get in the mail. Thank you for sharing 😊

I read it from front to back. Now I skip around book by book. And the Old Testament isn’t boring. Pray for wisdom and understanding before reading. And discipline is needed. God placed it this way for a reason. Just keep reading the word and 🙏🏽 God bless you.

I just looked it up I can’t believe he passed in 2023. I lost a family member around that same time I guess that is how I missed it. Well I know he is rejoicing in heaven. I will look for this Bible. Thank you

Sounds like a great idea. If just reading the whole Bible is the goal then yes. Understanding....no. When you break up some of the scriptures you lose context. In my opinion.

The first time I read the Bible from the beginning to the end I listened to a Bible on dvd as I read it. That was over 15 years ago. Now I have read the Bible at least 20 times now. I can't read it enough.

I just got this book, and I find it confusing as a seasoned Christian. Definitely not for newbies. It doesn’t finish the stories, poorly written, and I found a couple of typos (not a huge deal) — but I regret purchasing this.
