I can’t recommend Unagi Hasegawa as an additional spot to eat enough! Probably one of the tastiest meals we had in Japan. Also highly recommend the open air museum

I was slaps looking for a good itinerary for Hakone and this looks pretty good, I’ll be in Japan for 3 weeks so i am doing Kyoto, Nara, Osaka then flying to Tokyo, I was planning to skip Hakone due to the long train ride there and back for one day, and the few points of interest but you made it seems like there is more to do, is this a one day itinerary or a 2 day? Thank you in advance

I just did your entire itinerary (minus the tea house) today with an older woman I met at my onsen homestay and we were RAVING about your itinerary! I even did research and was satisfied that Fuki is one of the best restaurants in the area. We added on Bakery & Table for coffee and a pastry and it was THE BEST VIEW! But anyway, thanks for helping to contribute to a great day ☺️
