There’s definitely a lot better than Benchmade out there, Benchmade isn’t bad but they charge far more than other US makers for the same materials and sometimes worse quality. I’d reccomend looking into Tactile knife co, Protech, Spyderco, Houge, Microtech and Kershaw US. But theres also many foreign knife companies with very high quality for much cheaper.

if you ever want to try a small fixed blade looked at the Esee candiru you can get it in purple and find custom handle scales for it to make it how you want to wrap it in Paracord

I carry a benchmade barrage full size with the 154cm steel. Had it in the pocket every day for 5 years. I love it. Thought about getting the Adria recently because of it’s magnacut steel since I spend decent time on the water
