The first day i put my new hermit in his tank with sand he played in the salt water pool for 3 hours and then buried himself. I’m not sure if it’s stress or molt and this new hermit mama is scared

One of mine will not go into s shell. It was missing for months, revealed after molting, and got into a new shell. Two weeks later, it’s out of the shell and had been streaking/naked for almost 24 hours now. What can I do? It has multiple appropriate shells to choose from.

How do you maintain sandcastle consistency when your crab molts? I find I have to add water to the substrate every 1-2 weeks to keep it at the right consistency? I’ve watched mostof your videos.
