Usually only thing that’s recommended is blue magic since it’s a PRESSING and sealant oil. 2- never use shea butter when getting your hair done, it’s a THICK heavy set butter and can clog the hair shaft

obviously i dont have 4c hair lol but mine always looks greasy and heavy after straightening it so i add heat protectant and a bit of oil before straightening then after i use baby powder on a brush to get rid of the greasy look

i would say do it like how they do it in salons and get the things to roll up in her hair under a blowdryer.. take it out blow it out once more in small sections then straighten.. long process but the end results are always so beautiful
