We use a tool that you clamp both sides of the tool idk 8 inches apart from each other then you squeeze the handles and chain them together. Then get a foot and half length barb wire and spiral it over the outside two ends and twist the two wires in the middle. And never kinks the wire like these (Jake wire tightners) do
