Yep did it 3 times. The Cost to hire an attorney for eviction and the expense of everything they tore up I sold that rental house. Never doing that again.

It’s kinda a burden and losing money always hurts pockets but at same time you did something other owners wouldn’t, so yes paying twice sucks but shows you are a good landlord and have a good heart to offer the chance to retrieve left belongings if possible. 👍👍

I have had the police dept ask me to get a tarp and cover the abandoned stuff before , just in case it rained. In Savannah they want us to have the home emptied in one hour!!!

Should have set it on the property line. In most states once evicted the former resident can’t legally come back on to the property. By setting on the property line at the street half of that would have been gone due to people stopping.
